Update 2026.07.09 - Latest report is that Hwy 8 is once again fully paved, however Hwy 1 is presently closed. Outbound via Hwy 7 & Hwy 5 to the Brookmere turnoff, then through Kane Valley on the Coldwater Road. Hwy 8 from Merritt to Spences Bridge is mostly paved, with the last 50k due for resurfacing starting April 21. Returning home via Highway 1 for a change of scenery. Kickstands up at 9:00am
