The war machine of the Sabbat geared up for the Final Battle, only for the Red Star to burn out, the prophecies to slow, and the Final Nights to give way to the relentless darkness of eternity. With its promise unfulfilled, the rumblings of discontent within the Sabbat threaten to erupt into a new civil war. With the prospect of change or destruction imminent, various factions now arm themselves to wage war, purge the untrue, or seize control of the Sword of Caine. The players begin in Mexico City, where the Sabbat's biggest power players reside, as a nomad pack tasked with keeping order or securing power for their patron. Whether as Black Hand, Inquisition, paladins, or something stranger still, they will serve one of the major interests in the sect and be instrumental in its survival—or downfall. This Vampire: The Masquerade Sabbat Chronicle is based in the New World, and begins in 2017.
